There are times when I know what to do, But right now, the floor is falling through. I don’t know what it means to you, But now I know what I need to do. The world’s all a mess, and people all blame you, but we all really know, that’s it’s my fault, too. I don’t have it all figured out, And I still have to deal with my doubt, But today I won’t think about any of that, Because I never got anywhere by thinking I can’t. There are times when you need to remember, too, That even when the floor’s all falling through, That’s it’s the perfect chance to fly away, and prove to yourself that aren’t afraid. I don’t have it all figured out, And I still have to deal with my doubt, But today I won’t think about any of that, Because I never got anywhere by thinking I can’t. I don’t have it all figured out, But I’m trying my best, even when it doesn’t work out I guess I don’t have time to mess about, Because I won’t know the future, beyond any doubt I don’t have it all figured out, And I still have to deal with my doubt, But today I won’t think about any of that, Because I never got anywhere by thinking I can’t. The world’s all a mess, and people all blame you, but we all really know, that’s it’s my fault, too. Our world’s all a mess, What did we do? What if we stopped wondering if it’s our fault, too? The world’s all a mess, and people all blame you, When there’ just as much to blame for everything that we do The world’s all a mess, What did we do? We all really know, that’s it’s my fault, too. I don’t have it all figured out, And I still have to deal with my doubt, But today I won’t think about any of that, Because I never got anywhere by thinking I can’t. I don’t have it all figured out, But I’m trying my best, even when it doesn’t work out Sometimes I wonder, what will I do? To remember when it’s tough, that it’s my fault, too.

I only met you this morning, Now we’re fighting side by side, Fending off the evil hordes of darkness in the sky, Nobody knows we’re out here, And no one sees the fight, Does anyone care that we’re the ones keeping them alive? Take my hand when we take off again, as we’re fly against the stars, I don’t know if this will ever end, when we’re flying against the stars, Don’t tell me that it’s over, don’t tell me that I’m done for, Don’t tell me that everything's way too far, as we’re flying against the stars. I don’t know who I am but I hope you know who you are I want to know if I’ll make it home again, and I really hope you are. I don’t even know what I’ll do when this is over, But it’s getting closer. Take my hand when we take off again, as we’re fly against the stars, I don’t know if this will ever end, when we’re flying against the stars, Don’t tell me that it’s over, don’t tell me that I’m done for, Don’t tell me that everything's way too far, as we’re flying against the stars. Take my hand when we take off again, as we’re fly against the stars, I don’t know if this will ever end, when we’re flying against the stars, Don’t tell me that it’s over, don’t tell me that I’m done for, Don’t tell me that everything's way too far, as we’re flying against the stars.

I know it looks like everything is over The game we’re playing, we’ve lost And of course I want to give up, like you do But don’t forget that we’re not done I don’t know where I am, Or where you are, I don’t know where I’ve been, Or where you’ve gone, So tell me, Where I am, I wanna know Where you are We haven’t lost yet, We’re not done. We can’t give up now, there’s so much to do This is no game, we can’t just give in And of course I want to give up, just like you do But I won’t forget that we’re not done

How long until we realize That there’s more to life than these blue skies, The best things that could have come into our lives Could be the thing’s that we missed ‘cause we never tried. People don’t seem to see That there’s more to freedom than just being freed, And when it comes to courage | you might have to lead. But sometimes, you’re just on your knees Waiting for something to happen, but you don’t know the questions to ask Him, Maybe tomorrow you’ll be happy, But today you don’t feel ready. If there’s more to life, why say no? If you have a chance, why let it go? There’s so much to do and so much to show, You won’t have time if you take it slow. You’re waiting for something to happen, but you don’t know the questions to ask Him, Maybe tomorrow you’ll be happy, But today you don’t feel ready. Waiting for something to happen, but you don’t want to risk being tripped again, Maybe tomorrow you’ll be happy, But today you don’t feel ready I don’t know why people don’t care That they could do so much, if only they dared And I don’t know why we’re all scared To live the life that’s there I don’t know why you’re standing there, You could do so much, if only you dared And I don’t know why we’re not prepared To live the life that’s there

about

This is my first album, featuring May Tay Tay and Ryan Matlock. This album's songs cover a wide range of music I enjoy, from rock to metal to instrumental solo guitar- even some electronic music.

My goal was to write and record a collection of songs that represent the music I like to play and listen to.

Ryan Hoots Indiana

I like guitars a lot. I also like writing songs. Those two things go together well, I think.
